This recent event has really affected me. Tremendously. I can't explain but it has dragged my energy down. The recent mass shooting in Orlando, Florida at a gay club has been dubbed as the worst one in US history. There are no words to utter. No feelings to express, but anger, sadness and sorrow. As part of the LGBT community, this tragedy is indeed very close to home. I have been sad, crying and just waking up in the morning is never the same. How could the word hate be that strong? Losing 49 vibrant lives is just unfathomable. I don't want to be in the shoes of their family and closest friends. I will never totally feel what they feel right now. All I can feel is that it could happen to anyone of us. Our safe haven, where we gather and choose to be ourselves is now being targeted, threatened by hate. However, we should and will never live in fear. We will continue to gather, to express ourselves, kiss and love anyone we choose to. America is moving forward and that my friend I will always believe and hope for. From this day forward, we will never forget Orlando and that night that endangered our freedom. #WeAreOrlando #WeWillNeverLiveInFear
